Autumn Wolf Canvas Tote

Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding:


1 cup flour + 2 tsp baking powder (or use 2 cups self-raising flour)
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter


Sauce (for extra decadence double the sauce quantities):
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
1 1/3 cups hot water


Put the dry pudding ingredients in a bowl and mix, add the wet ingredients and mix well.


Put the sauce ingredients in the bottom of a casserole dish and stir well.


Drop spoonfuls of the pudding mixture into the sauce (they will expand and join hands and rise to the top while cooking, so no need to be neat or careful about this).


Bake for 45mins at 180C (350F). Try not to burn your mouth as you eat it the moment it comes out of the oven…


Serve with cream or icecream if you can wait that long. The left-overs (huh?) also make a really yummy cake /slice thing the following day…. or eaten by the spoonful from the fridge…
