Our gusdi, Brie, of BriesBoutique had the priviledge of attending Balloon Fest in Albuquerque, NM last weekend.
This is an annual event that is famous world wide.
I had the opportunity to attend it in the mid 1980’s while in the area to design a nursing home kitchen in Santa Fe. So, I know first hand how exciting it is to see these extravagant and costly hot air balloons lift off.
These photos will make you want to attend!
While these balloons are filled with hot air, one can’t say the same for our gusdi Brie. She is one of the Thread’s Fab Five!
The Fab Five are 5 women who had the pleasure of meeting in person in Albuquerque last April. We also had the opportunity to meet her children, Staci and Seth, while having dinner at the wonderful El Pinto restaurant in Albuquerque.
Brie has two Etsy stores. Briesboutique and Barbrie777
She sells a large variety of jewelry making supplies in Briesboutique. Here is one of my fav’s
