A Cherokee elder was telling his grandson about a fight that two wolves were having  inside of him.

One wolf is filled with evil, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment,
inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other wolf is us filled with good, joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asks his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee man simply replied, “The one I feed the most.”
